New Zealand have come to England to play a three-match test series. The first match of the series started yesterday. Both teams have played their first innings already. Bowlers from both sides have dominated in the first innings.

1st Innings of New Zealand

Kane Williamson, the test skipper of New Zealand, won the toss at Lord’s Cricket Ground and decided to bat first. The pitch looked batting-friendly, so the Kiwi’s captain chose to bat first. But after starting batting, they realized the pitch wasn’t perfect to score runs comfortably.

Tom Latham and Will Young, the two openers of New Zealand, came down on the pitch to start the innings. But because of the aggression of James Anderson, they couldn’t stay on the pitch. Both openers had to go back to the pavilion after scoring only one run for the team. After a while, New Zealand lost another wicket as Devon Conway departed the pitch in the 8th over.
