Match Review

The Stefano boys welcomed A.S Roma at San Siro stadium last night. In this match, the Milan boss set up his team formation with 4-2-3-1. He used Olivier Giroud in the front instead of Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Meanwhile, Roma boss Jose Mourinho played his team in 3-1-4-2. He focused on the attack rather than the defense.

But the visitors conceded early in the game. Roma forward Tammy Abraham made a handball inside the box in the 7th minute. So, the match referee offered a penalty kick to the home team after the VAR checking. Olivier Giroud took the kick and made no mistake. As a result, the Rossoneries took the lead in the 8th minute.

However, AC Milan took full advantage of the home ground. They played very attacking football from the starting of the match. The Stefano boys doubled their lead in the 17th minute as midfielder Junior Messias found the net for the home team. Anyway, Tammy Abraham netted a goal for the visitors before halftime. He scored in the 40th minute with the help of Pellegrini.

Returning from the break, the visitors tried to find the equalizer. But the defense of the host was rock solid. Moreover, AC Milan became more aggressive in the second half. They could have scored two more goals if the goal bar didn’t block those shots.

A.S Roma lost the game temper in the last stage of the match. Rick Karsdorp fouled Milan player Hernandez in the 74th minute, and the match referee showed him the red card. The hosts took this advantage and became more aggressive. They scored the third goal at the very last moment. Milan striker Rafael Leao found the net for the Rossoneri in the 81st minute. However, the home team could have scored the 4th goal in the additional time if Zlatan Ibrahimovic didn’t miss the penalty. So after 90 minutes, the Stefano boys won the match and moved closer to Inter Milan.
