Arsenal smashed Sevilla at Emirates Stadium

Arsenal smashed the Spanish club, Sevilla FC, at their home ground. The Gunners welcomed Sevilla FC at the Emirates Stadium, where the home team scored six goals to win against the Spanish side. Gabriel Jesus, the new recruit of Arsenal, completed his first hat-trick last night in Arsenal’s jersey. Moreover, he scored seven goals in total on this pre-season tour.

Match Report

Arsenal faced Sevilla FC at their home ground. In this match, Arsenal’s manager Mike Arteta set up the team formation with 3-4-1-2. He used three center-backs. In the front, the manager played Gabriel Martinelli with the new signing, Gabriel Jesus. On the other side, Sevilla boss Lopetegui played his team in a 4-3-3 formation.

As the home team, Arsenal tried to dominate from the beginning of the match. Bukayo Saka looked very threatening on the right side whenever he got the ball. Moreover, Martin Odegaard created many chances from the midfield. So, Sevilla struggled to handle them. In the 9th minute, Sevilla’s defender made a foul inside the box. As a result, Arsenal was awarded a penalty kick that was taken by Bukayo Saka. The England international made no mistakes from the spot kick. Thus, Arsenal took the lead in the 10th minute.

Arsenal literally ran a roller coaster in the next ten minutes. In the 13th minute, Gabriel Jesus wrote his name on the scoresheet as he found the net for the Gunners. Two minutes later, the Brazilian hit again. He scored his 2nd and team’s third goal in the 15th minute. Conceding these three goals in a short time, Sevilla went out of track. They conceded again in the first half. Bukayo Saka, who scored the first goal from the spot kick, scored again in the 19th minute. As a result, Arsenal took a 4 goal lead in the first half.

Returning from the break, Arsenal didn’t stop pushing. They kept trying to score more. In the 77th minute, Gabriel Jesus completed his first hat-trick for Arsenal with a brilliant goal. Eddie Nketiah found the net at the very last moment. Unfortunately, Sevilla couldn’t return a single goal. So, Arsenal got a massive victory with six goals margin.
