Soumya Sarkar and Najmul Hossain Shanto added 43 runs in the opening partnership.

Bangladeshi bowlers dominated the Dutch batters

Defending a small target, Bangladeshi bowlers were on fire against the Netherlands. Pacer Taskin Ahmed got a wicket in his very first ball of the first over. He picked up Vikramjit Singh in his first delivery. The pacer took another wicket in his second delivery as well.

This time, Bas de Leede had gone duck. After Taskin Ahmed, Hasan Mahmud also had a brilliant spell for Bangladesh. The young talent got two wickets of the Netherlands, while Taskin picked up four.

Colin Ackermann fought alone

Ackermann stood out among the other batters who continuously lost wickets. He fought alone to chase the target. Ackermann scored the highest 62 runs from 48 balls for the Netherlands.
