Match Review

Last night, FC Barcelona traveled to Santiago Bernabeu to play against Real Madrid. Following an incredible win against PSG, Los Blancos met the Blaugrana in the La Liga. So, their confidence was higher than the visitors. As a result,  Carlo Ancelotti made some technical changes in the squad. He didn’t use a center forward. But the manager played Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo as the false-nine.

On the other side, Xavi Hernandez set up his team formation with 4-3-3. The manager used Aubameyang with Ferran Torres and Ousmane Dembele in the front. However, the home team dominated in the first 15 minutes. But the Blaugrana found the right track after twenty minutes. They created many chances in the first half.  Frank De Jong and Pedri, the two midfielders of Barca, provided the ball from midfield.  As a result, Barcelona took the lead in the 29th minute as Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang found the net for the visitors.

Conceding the goal, the Los Blancos became desperate to find the equalizer. But they couldn’t break the Barcelona defense in the first half. Moreover, the visitors doubled the lead within ten minutes. This time defender Araujo scored a brilliant goal with a header. Unfortunately, Real Madrid could not find the net in the first half. So they went to the break  2-0 down.

Returning from the break, Barcelona hit again. Ferran Torres, the Spanish forward, found the net just before halftime. He scored in the 47th minute with the help of Aubameyang. Four minutes later, the Blaugrana scored their fourth goal in the match.  Aubameyang,  who netted the first goal, scored the second as well. As a result, FC Barcelona took a four-goal lead within 55 minutes. However, both teams couldn’t score more in the remaining minutes. As a result, the Xavi boys won the El Clasico at Santiago Bernabeu by a 4-0 margin. Barcelona could have scored more goals in this match, but they missed many chances. Besides,  the home team became messy after conceding so many goals. Their fans didn’t expect this kind of result against Barcelona.
