Despite conceding two goals early in the match, Tottenham Hotspur made a brilliant comeback to win a seven-goal thriller against Leeds United at the Spurs Stadium. Uruguayan Rodrigo Bentancur scored two goals in the final ten minutes to save Tottenham at their home ground.

Last night, Tottenham Hotspur welcomed Leeds United at their home to play the final game before the FIFA World Cup. This match is very important for the Spurs to stay in the top four. So, the manager played his best possible XI against Leeds.

Spurs boss Antonio Conte set up the team formation with 3-4-3. In the front, Harry Kane led the attack with Kulusevski and Richarlison. The manager also used two wing-backs with three center-backs. On the other hand, the Leeds boss played his team in a 4-2-3-1 formation.

The home team tried to press the opponents from the beginning. But the visitors stunned the home team in the 10th minute. Leeds midfielder Summerville scored a goal in the 10th minute to take the lead for Leeds. However, Tottenham Hotspur took only 15 minutes to find the equalizer. Striker Harry Kane scored that goal for the Spurs.

After that, both sides played equally well. The two parties created many chances and played aggressive football. But Leeds United were successful in scoring another goal. Rodrigo Moreno found the net this time just before the break.

Tottenham Hostpur, however, leveled the scoreline once again after the break. In the 51st minute, defender Ben Davies returned the goal for the Spurs. Conceding this goal, Leeds United didn’t give up the match. They kept pressing the home team. As a result, the visitors took the lead again as Rodrigo Moreno beat Hugo Lloris in the 76th minute.

It seemed Leeds United would win the game at the Spurs Stadium. But the drama was not over then. Rodrigo Bentancur, who came off the bench in the 51st minute, changed the momentum in the final ten minutes. In the 81st minute, he leveled the scoreline for the Spurs. Additionally, the Uruguayan scored again within two minutes with the help of Kulusevski, which earned the Spurs a hard-fought victory.
