Boxing Day Clashes: Early Team News

The English Premier League is returning today after the Xmas break. West Ham United will face Southampton at London Stadium. At the same time, Tottenham, Manchester City, and Arsenal will play their respective matches. After a while, Chelsea will travel to Villa Park to play against Aston Villa.

West Ham VS Southampton

West Ham United will host Southampton FC in the first match of Boxing Day. The Hammers are having a great time in the Premier League. Currently, they are standing on the fifth. But the Moyes boys have won only one match in their previous five league games. Moreover, West Ham lost their last match against Arsenal. Anyway, David Moyes will have the service of Vladimir Coufal after a one-match suspension. But he will miss Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna.

On the other side, Southampton FC haven’t won a single match in their previous five games.  They lost two and have drawn three. However, the Hammers will get closer to Arsenal if they beat Southampton today.

Manchester City VS Leicester City

The current league topper Manchester City will host Leicester City at the City of Manchester Stadium. Guardiola boys have been playing extraordinary football in the Premier League. They have won all of their previous five games in the league. Today, Manchester City might miss the service of Kyle Walker. He didn’t train yesterday with the team. He also missed two matches for injury.

On the other side, Leicester City are currently standing on the 9th. They have equal points as Aston Villa. So, if Roger’s boys fail to win today, they will slip down from their current position. However, Brandon Rogers will not get Fonana, Castange, and Barnes due to injuries. Moreover, Jamie Vardy is still in doubt.

Tottenham VS Crystal Palace

Tottenham have a great chance today to get in the top five if they beat Crystal Palace. Currently, they are 7th in the league table. They have won three of their last five matches in the Premier League. 

Today, Tottenham will host Crystal Palace at their home ground. However, the Hotspur boss will miss the service of Cristian Romero due to injury.
