The FIFA World Cup is knocking at the door. The biggest show on earth will begin on November 20 with the match between the host, Qatar, and Ecuador. However, every team has to submit their squad by November 13, one week before the World Cup. As part of this, Brazil’s manager Tite has announced the 26-men squad ahead of the Qatar World Cup. The full squad is listed below:

Goalkeepers: Alisson, Ederson, and Weverton.

Defenders: Danilo, Dani Alves, Alex Sandro, Alex Telles, Thiago Silva, Marquinhos, and E. Militao.

Midfielders: Bremer, Casemiro, Fabinho, Bruno Guimaraes, Fred, and Lucas Paqueta.

Forwards: Ribeiro, Neymar, Vinicius Jr, Gabriel Jesus, Antony, Raphinha, Richarlison, Martinelli, Rodrygo, and Pedro.

Half of the players are from the EPL

Brazil boss Tite selected half of his squad from the English Premier League. There are 12 Premier League players in the squad of 26. Their top two goalkeepers played for Manchester City and Liverpool respectively.

Alex Telles, however, is not a starter for Manchester United, but Thiago Silva played a vital role at Chelsea. Meanwhile, Casemiro and Fred earned their place in the starting XI at Man United.

But Bruno Guimaraes has attracted all the attention recently. He has been playing brilliantly this season in Newcastle’s shirt. In addition, Brazil’s Gabriel Martinelli would be a trump card for Tite. The winger has been scoring goals at Arsenal. Besides him, Gabriel Jesus is an important member of Arsenal’s team. Moreover, Antony, who joined Manchester United recently, has already proved his quality in the Premier League.

Players to miss the world cup

Brazil’s squad is one of the strongest in this tournament. But Tite has dropped some players from the squad, causing dissatisfaction among the fans. Roberto Firmino, Marcelo, and Gabriel are among the dropouts.

Roberto Firmino was out of his best form the last season. Therefore, he was on the bench most of the time. However, the Brazilian international has regained his form and has been a regular starter for Liverpool. The fans couldn’t accept Roberto Firmino’s dropout. He has already scored more goals than any other forward of Brazil.
