Strength
Paris Saint-Germain made a squad where many star players are playing. But if asked what are the strong points for PSG? Most of the answers will probably be on the offensive side of the PSG. They have the best young player, Kylian Mbappe. They brought Neymar from FC Barcelona in 2017, who is one of the most skillful players in the world.
Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain have signed Leo Messi and Sergio Ramos in the last summer transfer window. Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe are the deadliest attacking trio in the football world. With this offensive trio, PSG can destroy any team in the world.
Looking at last year’s statistics, it is clear that these three players were in terrible form. Lionel Messi became the top scorer of La Liga scoring 30 goals in 35 appearances. He was also the top assist provider in the league. On the other hand, Kylian Mbappe became the top scorer of the French League 1, scoring 27 goals. So it is clear that the attacking options are the main strength for Paris Saint-Germain.
Weakness
Despite having so many quality players in the team, Paris Saint-Germain have some weak points. Of course, they have signed the best players, but it will take some time for the new players to adjust to a new team. Sergio Ramos has not played yet for PSG. Moreover, Leo Messi played the first game in the UEFA Champions League for them. PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino must find coordination among the players.
