English Premier League clubs proved once again why the EPL is the toughest and the most unpredictable league in the world last night. Anything can happen in the Premier League in a blink of an eye. Last night, Chelsea defeated Leicester City with ten men. Arsenal also won the match despite conceding first. On the other hand, Liverpool literally smashed Bournemouth scoring nine goals at Anfield.

Liverpool ran riot at Anfield

Liverpool ran riot at Anfield against AFC Bournemouth last night. Liverpool were desperate to get their first victory. They have drawn their first two games. Moreover, the Klopp boys lost the match against Manchester United. But, the All Reds sent a strong message to all the clubs that they would not give up hope of winning the title.

Liverpool scored nine goals last night against Bournemouth. Luis Diaz opened the scoresheet with an early goal. After that, the Klopp boys literally smashed the visitors. Elliot, Arnold, Roberto Firmino, and Van Dijk scored four more goals to help Liverpool take a five-goal lead in the first half. It was the first time Liverpool had scored five goals in the first half in their history.

The remaining four goals came in the second half. Roberto Firmino and Luis Diaz found the net again after the interval. After a while, Fabio Carvalho scored one to complete nine goals against the visitors. Unfortunately, Bournemouth couldn’t return one in the match.

Chelsea beat Leicester

Chelsea defeated Leicester City with ten men as Conor Gallagher was sent off in the 28th minute. Both teams played well in the first half. But The Blues had to wait for the second half to take the lead. England’s winger Raheem Sterling found the net for Chelsea in the 47th minute.

The forward doubled the lead in the 63rd minute as he scored again with Reece James’ assist. However, the Foxes returned one within three minutes as Harvey Burns found the net in the 66th minute. But Leicester City couldn’t score more in the remaining minutes. As a result, Chelsea sealed the victory with a 2-1 margin at Stamford Bridge.
