There are only 9-days left until Qatar hosts the biggest show on earth, the FIFA World Cup. Many teams have already announced their squad ahead of the World Cup. But Argentina are yet to deliver their squad. However, Argentine boss Lionel Scaloni has to submit his player list before November 14.

Who will miss the World Cup?

Argentina are among the favorites for this world cup. They have a balanced team to fight. However, the manager is tense because a few key players are in doubt due to injury.

Giovani Lo Celso: In recent time, Argentina have strengthened their midfield massively. Argentine midfield trio Rodrigo De Paul, Parades, and Lo Celso have built up a fantastic combination on the pitch. Unfortunately, Lo Celso has been ruled out from the squad due to injury.

Lo Celso became injured last month during the match against Athletic Bilbao. Now he needs to undergo surgery, which means he will be out for two months. But who will replace him?

Enzo Fernandez has made himself a strong candidate to be part of the world cup squad. He played Argentina’s last match, where he showed his class. Argentine captain Lionel Messi also praised Enzo Fernandez. So it is expected that Enzo Fernandez will play Lo Celso’s role in the World Cup.

Paulo Dybala: Argentina have another big confusion about Paulo Dybala. The Argentine has been playing brilliantly for AS Roma since joining the club. Moreover, Paulo Dybala will not face any competition with other players to secure a place in the team. Unfortunately, Dybala’s injury has made his future uncertain in the upcoming World Cup.

Paulo Dybala is trying for his life to recover from the injury. He requested the Argentina Football Association to wait for him. He will be selected for the world cup squad if he is able to play for Roma against Torino on November 13.

Roma boss Jose Mourinho’s press conference didn’t give positive news for Dybala. Mourinho said, “I don’t know, it’s hard to say. I don’t know his contacts with Argentina and Scaloni. I don’t know if he has to play on Sunday to go to the World Cup, or not play to go to the World Cup.”

The boss added, “The players who will go to the World Cup are going to have their heads more on the other side than on this side in this last game. Of course we need Paulo, if I can choose I would like to have Dybala against Turin”.
