India defeated their arch-rival, Pakistan, by four wickets, where Virat Kohli played a crucial role in chasing the run. Both were very aggressive on the pitch. However, their partnership broke in the 13th over as Iftikhar Ahmed lost his wicket to Mohammad Shami. But before leaving the crease, he scored 51 runs from 34 balls.

On the other hand, Shan Masood kept adding runs. He remained not out in 51 runs. Unfortunately, the other batters of Pakistan couldn’t get a big score for the team. Therefore, Pakistan ended their innings with 159 runs.

Chasing the target, India were under massive pressure. Pakistan dominated them from the start of the innings. Due to the aggression of the Pakistani bowlers, India lost four wickets in 34 runs. India seemed to be losing at this point. But the drama wasn’t over there.

Virat Kohli showed his class once again

Virat Kohli, the former captain of India, showed his class once again. He changed the entire game at the MCG. From 31 runs, Virat Kohli made a fantastic partnership of 113 runs with Hardik Pandya.

Although Pandya departed the pitch with 40 runs, Virat remained not out in this match. He scored an unbeaten 82 runs from 53 balls, which earned a crucial victory for India.
