India have lost two consecutive matches in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. Last night they lost against New Zealand at the Dubai International Stadium. Now, India are in danger of being knocked out of the tournament as they lost two consecutive matches. On the other hand, New Zealand still have hopes to go to the semi-final.

At the Dubai International Stadium, New Zealand skipper Kane Williamson won the toss and elected to bowl first. Both India and New Zealand played with unchanged XI. But India changed the batting order. Ishan Kishan started the innings as an opener batsman with KL Rahul instead of Rohit Sharma. But, India lost their first wicket in the third over as Ishan Kishan had to go back to the pavilion with just four runs. Within two overs, India lost another wicket. This time KL Rahul lost his wicket to Tim Southee.
Due to the aggression of the Kiwi bowlers, India lost their next three wickets in a very short time. Then Hardik Pandya tried to build up a partnership with Ravindra Jadeja. They added 24 runs together on the scoreboard. But, Trent Boult took the wicket of Pandya in the 19th over. On the other side, Ravindra Jadeja remained not out with 26 runs. It was the highest individual run for India in this match. So after 20 overs, India scored 110 runs for seven wickets.
However, Trent Boult picked up three wickets of India. At the same time, Ish Sodhi got two wickets, and Tim Southee got one.
Chasing down the low target, the two openers of New Zealand started the innings aggressively. Martin Guptil scored 20 runs from 17 balls. After losing his wicket, Daryl Mitchell made a partnership with skipper Kane Williamson. They picked up 72 runs together. Mitchell missed the half-century only for one run. He lost his wicket to Jasprit Bumrah after picking up 49 runs. On the other side, captain Williamson chased the target with Devon Conway. Williamson scored 33 runs, and Conway scored two. Both of them were not out in this innings.
