The current season of the top five European leagues is near to end. Almost every league has just one game left this season. So, the transfer market is getting busy day by day. Particularly, Killian Mbappe’s transfer saga has hit the market significantly. According to some strong sources, Kylian Mbappe is on the way to joining Real Madrid this summer transfer window.

Kylian Mbappe, the French World Cup winner, joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2017 from Monaco. Since then, Mbappe has scored 161 goals for the League 1 champion in all competitions. However, Mbappe is considered one of the fastest players in the world. His fast-running capability has attracted many top clubs in Europe.

However, there are not many clubs that can afford to pay Mbappe’s high wage. But Real Madrid, the La Liga champion, have made their first priority to sign Kylian Mbappe at any cost. They have been trying to get the France International for the previous two years.

Real Madrid made two proposals of £135m and £152m in the last summer transfer window. But Paris Saint-Germain rejected both offers as they wanted to keep Mbappe. Their position about Mbappe still remains the same. They are not willing to sell him. But, their contract with the player is running out. Moreover, Mbappe will not renew the contract with PSG. He rejected the new offer of £4m per month from PSG. Therefore, the possibility of Kylian Mbappe joining Real Madrid is very high.

Mbappe’s Thoughts

Kylian Mbappe has faced many questions about his future. But he has not clarified where he will play next season. However, Mbappe has already taken the decision, he confirmed. While speaking to the media, Kylian Mbappe said,

We need to respect all parties involved. It is over, only a few details are left, but it’s now over. I will officially announce my decision in the future before I join the France national team in June.

What will be Mbappe’s role at Real Madrid?

At Real Madrid, the question is where Mbappe will play. Mbappe has been playing as a left-winger at Paris Saint-Germain. But Real Madrid already have an in-form left-winger, Vinicius Junior. It is very unlike that the manager will bench Vinicius for Mbappe. So, the manager can play Mbappe as the right-wing. Alternatively, he may switch Vinicius to the right side.
