There are only two days left in the summer transfer window. A lot of things have been happening on the market. Manchester United have already completed the signing of Antony after reaching an agreement with Ajax. However, Paris Saint Germain are close to signing Fabian Ruiz from Napoli, while West Ham United signed Lucas Paqueta from Lyon.

Fabian Ruiz to PSG

Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are very close to bringing Fabian Ruiz from Napoli. Talks are ongoing between all parties. PSG have reached an agreement with Napoli to sign the Spain international for €25 million. It’s a matter of time now to see Fabian Ruiz in Paris Saint-Germain’s shirt.

Christophe Galtier, the new manager of PSG, has been trying to strengthen his midfield from the start of the transfer window. Furthermore, midfielder Leandro Paredes is likely to join Juventus this window. So, the French side needs to replace him, and the manager believed Fabian Ruiz would be a perfect player in that position. Real Madrid and Manchester United were also interested in signing him, but PSG are favorite to get him within a few days.

West Ham United signed Lucas Paqueta

The current summer transfer window sees a high demand for Brazilian players. Brazil’s youngster Antonio has been signed for €100m, while West Ham United signed Lucas Paqueta, another Brazilan, for the club’s record fee of £51m. Lucas Paqueta is the 8th signing of the Hammers during this window.

However, Lucas Paqueta has signed a five-year contract with West Ham United. The Hammers have also an option to extend one year of his contract. Moreover, the English club will pay around £36.4m initially to Lyon. The remaining £14.6m will be paid as add-ons.

Lucas Paqueta scored nine goals with six assists for Lyon the previous season. He also scored two important goals for Brazil in the World Cup Qualifier. However, Lucas Paqueta is very happy to play in the Premier League. He said, “I am extremely happy to be here. I hope it’s the beginning of an enjoyable journey. I hope my time here is successful. Last season, West Ham had a very good season, and I hope they continue to enjoy more and more good seasons in my time at the club.”
