Real Madrid signes Tchouameni
Real Madrid, the winner of the UEFA Champions League, signed Tchouameni from Monaco. The France international Aurelien Tchouameni has been playing crucially for Monaco. That is why he attracted many top clubs in Europe. English club Liverpool showed heavy interest in signing him. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain were also in the race to get Aurelien Tchouameni this transfer window. The French club offered him more salary than Real Madrid.
But, Aurelien Tchouameni’s only priority was to play for the Los Blancos. So, he decided to join Real Madrid. Real Madrid have also confirmed that they reached an agreement with Monaco to sign Aurelien Tchouameni for €80m. They have released a statement saying that,
Real Madrid CF and AS Monaco have agreed on the transfer of the player Aurelien Tchouameni, who will be linked to the club for the next six seasons. Next Tuesday, June 14, at 12:00 at Real Madrid City, the presentation ceremony for Aurelien Tchouameni as a new Real Madrid player will take place after the corresponding medical examination.
Manchester United made the first bid for De Jong.
Erik ten Hag, the new manager of Manchester United, wants to make his first signing by bringing Frankie de Jong to the club. Man United made their first bid on the first day of the summer transfer window. They offered €60m for the Dutch player. But, FC Barcelona rejected the offer. Barcelona set a price tag of €85 million for Frankie de Jong.
However, Barca’s manager Xavi wants to keep De Jong. But the board is willing to make some money by selling him despite Xavi’s interest. Barcelona haven’t recovered from the financial crisis yet.
