Liverpool FC are now the league leader of the English Premier League after defeating Manchester United. They are now two points ahead of Manchester City, although the Citizens have played one fewer game than the Klopp boys. Last night, Liverpool FC humiliated the Red Devils by scoring four goals at their home ground, Anfield. Moreover, Liverpool have scored nine goals in the same campaign (2 matches) against Man United. The defeat moved the Red Devils to the 6th with 54 points. Now, it becomes difficult for Man United to secure their place in the next UEFA Champions League as they are out of the top four.

To win the league title, Liverpool FC had no other option than to defeat Manchester United at Anfield. So, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp played his best possible XI in this match. He set up the team formation with 4-3-3. On the other side, Ralf Rangnick missed several key players in this match. Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored a hat-trick against Norwich City, missed the clash as he had lost his newborn baby.
