However, Real Madrid and Manchester United were also interested in signing him. But Liverpool won the race to get Darwin Nunez. The English club agreed to pay around £64m million with an additional £21m million in add-ons.
Moreover, Klopp believes that Nunez will be a trump card for them in the upcoming season. As Mane left the club, Nunez can be seen in the starting XI from the beginning of the new season. Jurgen Klopp can deploy him with Salah and Luis Diaz. In addition, the boss has more options, such as Diego Jota and Roberto Firmino.
Marcelo says goodbye to Real Madrid.
After playing a long 14 years at a club, Marcelo confirmed that he is leaving Real Madrid. Marcelo is considered one of the legendary players of Real Madrid. He joined the Blancos in 2007.
