Manchester City are now eight points clear from the second team of the point table, Chelsea, after winning the match against Brentford. Last night, they beat Brentford FC at Brentford Community Stadium. On the other side, Chelsea FC lost points again as they failed to win against Brighton & Hove Albion FC. Both teams shared the points at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea 1-1 Brighton

Last night, Chelsea welcomed the Seagulls at Stamford Bridge. Thomas Tuchel, the home team manager, played in a 3-4-2-1 formation. Tuchel used Reece James as the wing-back against the visitors. In the front, the Chelsea boss played Romelu Lukaku instead of Timo Werner. On the other hand, the Seagulls boss Graham Potter set up his team formation as Tuchel set for the Blues.

However, the home team took the lead first as striker Romelu Lukaku scored in the 28th minute with the help of Mason Mount. Scoring the first goal, Chelsea played defensive football. They couldn’t create a lot of chances in the first half. Besides, the visitors looked very dangerous after conceding the first goal. Although they created many chances, they didn’t find the net because of Chelsea’s goalkeeper. He saved some incredible shots in the game.

In the second half, Brighton became more aggressive. They were very desperate to find the equalizer. However, they found the net at the very last moment. Danny Welbeck, who replaced Mac Allister in the 80th minute, scored the goal in the 91st minute for the visitors. As a result, the match ended in a 1-1 draw.

Manchester City VS Brentford

Manchester City are now standing in a very comfortable zone. They won a very crucial match against Brentford FC. Last night, Brentford welcomed Man City at their home ground, where the Guardiola boys won by a single goal.

The Citizens have been playing more attacking football after the return of Kavin de Bruyne. He missed some games at the starting of the season due to injury. But now he is back to the squad.

De Bruyne already netted five goals this season. Last night, this midfield maestro assisted Phil Foden to score the only goal of this match.

In the 16th minute, KDB crossed the ball inside the box, and Foden converted it into a goal. However, both teams couldn’t score more in the remaining minutes. So the Citizens won the match, and remain at the top of the table with 50 points.
