Manchester United are now just one step away from the Carabao Cup Final. Last night, they defeated Nottingham Forest in the first leg of the semifinal. With the goals from Marcus Rashford, Wout Weghorst, and Bruno Fernandes, Manchester United beat the Forest by a 3-0 margin.

Man United traveled to the City Ground to play the first leg of the Carabao Cup semifinal against Nottingham Forest. Man United manager Erik Ten Hag made some changes in the squad compared to the squad against Arsenal.

Besides, Manchester United doubled their lead just before halftime. Man United’s loanee Wout Weghorst scored this goal in the 45th minute. It’s his first goal for Man United.

After the break, both sides tried hard to score more. Nottingham Forest created some crucial chances in the second half. But they failed to break Man United’s defense. In addition, Manchester United got another goal. Captain Bruno Fernandes netted this time with the help of Elenga. In the end, The Red Devils secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against The Forest.
