Manchester United have come back dramatically after conceding two goals in the first half. They scored three goals in the second half to secure three points at the Theatre of Dreams. Marcus Rashford, Harry Maguire, and Cristiano Ronaldo all scored last night to win against Atalanta in the UEFA Champions League match,

Manchester United have welcomed Atalanta at Old Trafford to play their third game in the UEFA Champions League. The manager of the home team, Ole Gunner Solskjaer, has made one change in the squad. He benched Paul Pogba to put Mctominay in the starting XI. He set up the formation with 4-2-3-1. On the other hand, Atalanta boss G. Gasperini played his team in the formation of 3-4-1-2.

The home team, Manchester United, conceded the first goal against Atalanta in just 15 minutes of the game. Midfielder Mario Pasalic converted Zappacosta’s cross into a goal for the visiting team. Manchester United conceded again as Merih Demiral scored in the 28th minute for Atalanta. As a result, the home team ended the first half in 2-0 down.

Manchester United became aggressive in the second half. Bruno Fernandez created many chances. But, Marcus Rashford and Cristiano Ronaldo missed those opportunities. Reaction

Manchester United manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer was under immense pressure before the match as the team did not perform well under him. But this win has released some pressure from him. Ole Gunner Solskjaer has had a press conference after the match against Atalanta. He said,

Tonight was a massive result. We got off to a slow start with the Young Boys game and, if we’re being honest, the red card has changed the game so that was disappointing. We didn’t play well against Villarreal, but we got the three points and dug in and I think tonight was a special night in terms of the togetherness, the spirit, the fight that we showed in the second half to keep believing and to keep pushing.
