Stats & Facts

The only match Arsenal have lost this season is against Manchester United. Manchester United defeated Arsenal with a 3-1 margin earlier this season. Now the Red Devils are looking to complete the league double over Arsenal since Sir Alex retired in 2013.

However, Arsenal have a good record against Manchester United at Emirates Stadium. They have won five of their last seven meetings with Man United.

Team News

To face the table topper, Manchester United will miss their midfield general, Casemiro. Casemiro has been an important part of Manchester United. But, he will not be available tonight due to the suspension. Therefore, Fred is likely to replace him.

Don’t miss:  Man United made a dramatic comeback at Old Trafford

Fred and Eriksen may pair up today in the defensive midfield, and Bruno Fernandes is an auto choice to play the attacking-midfielder role. In the match against Crystal Palace, Man United’s new Wout Weghorst made his debut. Although he didn’t score, he performed well. He will play tonight along with Marcus Rashford and Anthony.

As Diogo Dalot is injured, Aaron Wan Bissaka will continue with Luke Shaw as the full-back. Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez may pair up in the center defense, while De Gea will continue between the posts.

As for Arsenal, they have no major injury issues in their squad.

Ten Hag’s thoughts

Man United manager Erik Ten Hag has shared his thoughts ahead of the clash. He has talked about Casemiro. Ten Hag said, “I think we have good squad, a competing squad. As you know, Casemiro is absent, but for the rest, we have a good team who has to battle with Arsenal. We have to go head-to-head and we are convinced we are in a good way. We have a prepared team and a good plan and energy, and we will be acting [that].”
