Manchester United will host Everton today at Old Trafford. Manchester United have won dramatically against Villarreal in the UEFA Champions League. Now, they are ready to return to the Premier League with a game against Everton. Both Manchester United and Everton have equal 13 points in the league. They are just one point behind the league topper Liverpool FC.

Recent Form

Manchester United have equal points as Everton in the Premier League. They have won three of their last five league games, drawn one, and lost one. On the other side, Everton have won three of their recent five Premier League games.

However, Manchester United lost their last league game against Aston Villa. But with a win against Villarreal in the Champions League, they have gained confidence. As a home game for the Reds, Manchester United will have immense support from viewers. So, it will be very difficult for Everton to beat Manchester United at Old Trafford. Moreover, Everton’s away record is not good enough. They have conceded ten goals in their last four Premier League matches. Everton have also won just one of their previous 12 matches against Manchester United. There have been six draws in the last twelve games. Manchester United have won the remaining five matches.

Skipper Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw will not play against Everton due to injuries. But right-back Aaron Wan Bissaka has returned from a two-match suspension. Ole also talked about Marcus Rashford. He said,

Marcus trained fully for the first time today with contact. There were a few tackles flying in on him and he seemed okay, which was nice to see. Marcus is fit, he’s worked really hard, but he’s not had any contact [until now]. If his shoulder can take the contact now, he should be ready after the internationals.
