Brazilian superstar Neymar continues shining in Paris Saint-Germain’s shirt. He has been troubling for a few years due to injuries. But now he is back to full fitness, and we are probably watching Neymar at his best since he left Barcelona.

In PSG’s new campaign, Neymar has already netted three goals and contributed three assists. Moreover, Neymar scored 18 goals with six assists in his previous 15 appearances for PSG. His crazy stats make PSG hopeful of doing better in the upcoming UEFA Champions League. However, PSG defeated Montpellier last night at Parc des Princes, where Neymar scored twice for the team.

PSG welcomed Montpellier at Parc des Princes to play their first home game of the season. With this match, Kylian Mbappe returned to the squad after missing some games for injury. PSG boss Christophe Galtier played his team in a 3-4-1-2. He used Lionel Messi as the attacking midfielder while Neymar and Mbappe played in the front. On the other side, Montpellier’s manager set up his team formation in 4-1-4-1.

Both teams played equally in the first 20 minutes. But the home team eventually took control of the match. They created some chances good chances in the first half. Messi, Neymar, and Mbappe were very threatening whenever they got the ball. As a result, PSG took the lead in the 39th minute as Montpellier defender Falaye Sacko turned the ball into his own net.

A few moments later, PSG doubled their lead as Neymar Jr. scored from a penalty kick. Montpellier couldn’t return a goal in the remaining minutes of the first half. As a result, PSG went to the interval with a two-goal lead.

Returning from the break, PSG got another goal as Neymar scored his second goal in this match. After that, the visitors became desperate to find the net. They scored a goal in the 58th minute. But PSG continued pressing and pushing. They broke the opponent’s defense again. This time, Kylian Mbappe found the net for PSG. The fifth goal came just three minutes before the full-time. Renato Sanches scored that goal for the home team. However, Enzo Gianni returned a goal for Montpellier at the very last moment, but it was nothing to get points from this match.
