However, Rajasthan Royals had to start batting as they lost the toss. So, Josh Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal started the batting innings for the Royals. Their beginning was so impressive. They started hitting from the very first over. In addition, Josh Buttler was a bit more aggressive than his partner.

However, they successfully played the powerplay without losing any wickets. Both Josh Buttler and Devdutt Padikkal got the half-centuries in this match. Chasing down a massive target, the Delhi Capitals started their innings carefully. David Warner and Prithvi Shaw looked calm on the pitch. However, Warner tried to play aggressively. But he couldn’t stay longer on the ground. Their opening partnership ended in 43 runs as David Warner lost the wicket in the 5th over. Delhi Capitals lost another wicket in the next over. After that, Prithvi Shaw tried to tackle the situation with Rishab Pant. They added 51 runs together on the scoreboard. But the disaster started when their partnership had broken.
