Rajasthan Royals have moved up to 2nd place at the point table after defeating Chennai Super Kings. Last night, they beat the CSK by five wickets. Moreover, it was their final match in the group round of the IPL. However, they have already secured a place in the semifinal. Match Review

MS Dhoni, the skipper of Chennai Super Kings, won the toss and decided to bat first. So, Rituraj Gaikwad and Devon Conway started the innings for the CSK. But their starting was very poor as Rituraj Gaikwad lost the wicket in the first over. Kiwi bowler Trent Boult picked up his wicket. After that, Devon Conway made a brilliant partnership with Moeen Ali. They tackled the initial disaster by adding 83 runs together on the scoreboard. Moeen Ali, the new batsman, played aggressively from the start. Unfortunately, their partnership broke when Conway departed the pitch after scoring 16 runs. Moreover, Chennai Super Kings lost another wicket in the next over. This time, Narayan Jagadeesan went back to the pitch.

Before losing the wicket, Ali hit 13 boundaries and three over boundaries. Relying on his bat, Chennai Super Kings scored 150 runs in 20 overs.

In pursuit of the target, Rajasthan Royals also failed to make a good start. They lost the first wicket as Josh Buttler had to go back to the pavilion in the 2n over. But Yashavsi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson handled the pressure. They made a 51-run partnership for the team. After that, Sanju Samson, the captain, lost the wicket in the 9th over. After a while, Devdutt Padikkal also went back to the dressing room.

But, Yashavsi Jaiswal continued scoring runs. He made another partnership of 28 runs with Ravichandran Ashwin. Before losing the wicket, Jaiswal scored the highest 59 runs for the team. However, Ashwin batted brilliantly to chase the target. He scored a very crucial 40 off 23, which helped Rajasthan Royals to beat Chennai Super Kings by 5 wickets.
