Rajasthan Royals have reached the final of IPL, where they will face Gujarat Titans on Sunday. Last night, Rajasthan Royal defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore in the second semifinal. Josh Buttler’s brilliant century helped the Royals to beat Bangalore by seven wickets.
Buttler has been playing magnificent throughout this tournament. As of now, the England international is the top run-scorer in the current campaign of the Indian Premier League. With 824 runs, Josh Buttler is standing at the top of the list. Moreover, the century against Royal Challengers Bangalore is the 4th hundred of Josh Buttler.

Royal Challengers Bangalore and Rajasthan Royals met last night in the second semifinal of IPL. Sanju Samson, the skipper of Rajasthan Royals, won the toss at the Narendra Modi Stadium and decided to bowl first. So, Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis had to come on the pitch to start the innings for the RCB. But, Virat Kohli continued failing. He lost the wicket in the 2nd over, scoring only seven for the team.
After that, Faf du Plessis made a partnership with Rajat Patidar, who batted brilliantly against Lucknow Super Giants. Together they added 70 runs for the team. Unfortunately, the skipper had to go back to the pavilion in the 11th over as Obed McCoy picked up the wicket.
After the departure of Faf du Plessis, no other batsmen scored a notable run except Rajat Patidar. Before losing the wicket, Patidar scored 58 off 42 balls. So, after 20 overs, Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 157 for 8 wickets.
Chasing the target, Josh Buttler and Yashavsi Jaiswal had a brilliant start for the Royals. Both batsmen were very aggressive from the beginning of their innings. Their partnership lasted for five overs. But, they added 61 runs before breaking the partnership. Although Jaiswal departed the pitch, scoring 21 runs, Josh Buttler continued hitting boundaries.
Buttler made another partnership of 52 runs with the skipper, Sanju Samson. Unfortunately, Samson couldn’t stay long in the crease, but that was never a problem in chasing the target. Josh Buttler picked up his 4th century of the tournament. With Devdutt Paddikal, he chased the target within 19 overs. Moreover, Buttler remained not out in 106 runs.
