The wait is over. Finally, Real Madrid have won the LaLiga title this season. Last night, they defeated Espanyol to win their 35th league title. However, the Los Blancos have sealed the title with four games in hand. They just needed one point against Espanyol to ensure the league trophy. But they won against Espanyol and got three points at Santiago Bernabeu. With this victory, Real Madrid have earned 81 points from 34 games, 17 points ahead of the second team, Sevilla FC.

Moreover, Real boss Carlo Ancelotti made an unreal record with this victory. He has become the first manager in the history of football to win all the titles in the top five European competitions. Carlo Ancelotti won Serie A with AC Milan, the English Premier League with Chelsea FC, the Ligue 1 with PSG, and the Bundesliga with Bayern Munich. But he didn’t get the LaLiga title before. Last night, he conquered La Liga for the first time and became the first manager to win all these league titles.

Journey in the League.

Let’s take a look at the journey of Real Madrid in La Liga. They had suffered a lot in the previous season, while Atletico Madrid became the champion. But from the start of this season, the Los Blancos looked very confident. They lost only three and have drawn six games.

Karim Benzema has been the most consistent performer for Real Madrid. The current season has been Benzema’s best season of his career. He has already scored 42 goals in all competitions for Real Madrid. Moreover, he is also the highest goalscorer and top assist provider in La Liga. So far, Benzema has scored 26 goals in the league, while he has registered 11 assists on his name.

Another player who we should appreciate for Real Madrid’s success is Vinicius Junior. The Brazilian youngster has been amazing this season as Karim Benzema. Vinicius has already netted 14 goals in the league for Real Madrid. He has also got 9 assists to help Real Madrid win the title. All these efforts make the path easy for the Los Blancos to win the record-breaking 35th league title.
