Spanish giant Real Madrid FC have continued winning matches in La Liga, having won both of their first games. Last night, they defeated Celta Vigo with a 4-1 margin at Balaidos Stadium. However, Real Madrid go to the top of the table after this victory.

Celta Vigo welcomed Real Madrid last night at Balaidos Stadium. In this match, Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti had to make some changes. Tony Kross missed the game due to injury, while Casemiro has left Real Madrid to sign for Manchester United. That is why the manager played two young talents, Eduardo Camavinga and Tchouameni, along with an experienced Luka Modric. However, Carlo Ancelotti set up his team formation with 4-3-3. On the other side, Celta Vigo’s manager played his team in a 4-1-3-2 formation.

Real Madrid, however, didn’t have to wait much to take the lead. They were offered a penalty kick as Renato Tapia made a handball inside the box. Karim Benzema took the kick and made no mistakes. As a result, the Los Blancos took the lead in the 14th minute. But the home team found the equalizer before the break. They also scored their first goal from a penalty kick.

It seemed the first half could end in a 1-1 draw. But, Luka Modric made the difference. He scored a stunning goal outside of the box in the 41st minute. As a result, the visitors went to the break with one goal lead.

Returning from the interval, the visitors didn’t stop pushing. Therefore, they scored another goal early in the second half. This time, Brazil international Vinicius Junior scored a goal in the 56th minute from Luka Modric’s outstanding long pass. The fourth goal came ten minutes later. Midfielder Federico Valverde found the net in the 66th minute for the Los Blancos. The fourth goal was assisted by Vinicius Junior, who scored the third goal.

However, the visitors could have scored another goal. Celta Vigo defender Hugo Mallo made a handball inside the box. So, the match referee offered a penalty kick to Real Madrid. Unfortunately, Eden Hazard missed the opportunity to find the net from the spot kick. But it didn’t affect Real Madrid from winning the match.
