Ronaldo’s Heroic Hat-trick Destroyed Tottenham Hotspur

Cristiano Ronaldo saved Manchester United with a hat-trick against Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford. It is his second hat-trick for Manchester United after a long 14 years. Moreover, Ronaldo has come to the 2nd position of the top goalscorer in the Premier League with this hat-trick. He has already scored 12 goals in the league, while Liverpool striker Mo Salah is standing on the top of the list with 20 goals.

Last night, Cristiano Ronaldo set new records. He has scored the most hat-trick in the history of football. With the hat-trick against Tottenham, Ronaldo now owns 59 hat-tricks in football. Moreover, he has become the highest goalscorer of all time, scoring 807 goals in his career.

Last night, Manchester United welcomed Tottenham Hotspur at Old Trafford in a crucial match. Both teams desperately needed to win the game to qualify for the Champions League. In this match, the Red Devils manager set the team formation with 4-2-3-1. He also made some changes in this match. Bruno Fernandes, a regular starter for Manchester United, missed the match due to injury. So, the manager played Paul Pogba as the Attacking-midfielder. On the other side, the  Tottenham manager played his team in a 3-4-2-1 formation.

Manchester United played attacking football from the beginning of the match. They pressed highly in the first half. In the 9th minute, Tottenham’s defender made a handball inside the box. As a result, the home team was asking for a penalty, but the match referee denied it. However, the Red Devils took the lead in the 12th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo scored the goal with a bullet shot from outside the box. But the visitors equalized in the 35th minute from a penalty kick.

Three minutes later, Cristiano Ronaldo hit again. He scored that goal in the 38th minute with a beautiful pass from Jadon Sancho. As a result, Manchester United ended the first half with a 2-1 lead.

Returning from the break, the Spurs looked very aggressive. They desperately tried to equalize. In the 72nd minute, they found the net. But it was the own goal of Manchester United’s captain, Harry Maguire. After that goal, the match seemed to be drawn. But Ronaldo fired up again. He scored a brilliant goal with a header and completed his second hat-trick for the Red Devils. The Spurs could find the net in the remaining minutes. As a result, Manchester United won the match at Old Trafford.
