In Group G, Serbia faced Cameroon in their 2nd game in the FIFA World Cup. The match was super exciting as both teams scored six goals combined. However, the clash between Serbia and Cameroon ended in a 3-3 tie at Al Janoub Stadium.

Both Serbia and Cameroon started their world cup journey with defeats. Therefore, both sides desperately needed to win today’s clash. Serbia’s manager played his best possible XI against Cameroon. He set up the team formation with 3-4-2-1. The manager used three center-backs with two full-backs. On the other hand, Cameroon’s boss played his team in a 4-3-3 formation.

However, both teams were very aggressive from the beginning of the game. But Cameroon became successful in scoring the goal. In the 29th minute, Cameroon’s defender Charles Castelletto scored this goal to take the lead.

Conceding the goal, Serbia had gone crazy. They were highly pressing and pushing the opponents. As a result, they leveled the scoreline before the break. In the additional time of the first half, Serbia returned a goal as Pavlovic found the net with the help of Dusan Tadic.

Moreover, Serbia took the lead within two minutes. This time, Serbia’s midfielder Milinkovic Savic scored with Zivkovic’s assist. As a result, Serbia went to the break with a 2-1 lead.

Returning from the break, Serbia kept creating chances. Therefore, they didn’t have to wait much to score again. Fulham’s striker Aleksandar Mitrovic scored a stunning goal in the 53rd minute.

It seemed Serbia would win the game, but the drama was yet to come. Cameroon were very determined to win the match. They fought for their lives to score again. In the 63rd minute, Cameroon got their second goal. Striker Vincent Aboubakar found the net with Castelletto’s assist.

Scoring their second goal, Cameroon became more confident. Therefore, Cameroon scored once again within three minutes. Bayern forward Maxim Choupo-Moting found the equalizer for Cameroon in the 66th minute. After that, both sides tried hard to score a goal, but they failed to find the net in the remaining minutes. As a result, the match ended in a 3-3 tie.
