Serie A is becoming more competitive day by day. The teams in this league are getting stronger every season. Almost six teams have a chance to win the title this season. Current league holder, Inter Milan, is standing on the top of the table. Meanwhile, their city rival AC Milan are just four points behind them.

Last night, both teams of Milan won their respective matches. AC Milan beat Empoli by 4-2. On the other, Inter Milan won against Torino FC at San Siro Stadium.

AC Milan VS Empoli

AC Milan traveled to Stadio Carlo Castellani last night to play against the home team, Empoli. Milan boss Stefano Pioli set up his team formation with 4-2-3-1. As the center forward, he played Oliver Giroud, who joined AC Milan from Chelsea FC in the transfer window last summer. On the other side, Empoli boss Aurelio Andreazzoli played his team in a 4-3-1-2 formation against the visitors.

However, AC Milan took the lead first in the opponent’s home. Frank Yannick Kessie scored that goal in the 12th minute for the visitors. But Empoli took just six minutes to equalize. Albanian forward Nedim Bajrami equalized for the home team, scoring in the 18th minute.

The visitors took the lead again just before half-time. Frank Kessie, who netted the first goal, scored the second in the 42nd minute.

Returning from the break, AC Milan took control of the game. They found the opponent’s net whenever they got chances. In the 63rd minute, right-back Alessandro Florenzi scored for the Rossoneri. Six minutes later, the Stefano boys hit again. This time, left-back Theo Hernandez beat the goalkeeper of Empoli. As a result, AC Milan took a 4-1 lead in this game. Anyway, the home team returned a goal from the penalty shoot-out in the 84th minute. But it was not enough to win the clash. So, AC Milan won the match and maintained the same gap as Inter Milan.

Inter Milan VS Torino FC

Inter Milan won the match by 1-0 against Torino FC at San Siro. Dutch player Denzel Dumfries scored the only goal in the game and ensured the three points for Inter Milan. Inter took the lead in the first half and successfully defended that goal. Besides, the visitors failed to score a single goal in the entire match.
