Chelsea faced Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday night’s premier league clash. Both teams shared a point as none of them could win the match. On the contrary, Manchester City, Leicester City, and Brentford won in their respective games.

Brentford VS Everton

Everton visited the Brentford Community Stadium last night to play against Brentford. The result of this match between the two teams was decided by one goal only. In the 23rd minute, Everton midfielder A. Townsend fouled Frank Onyeka inside the box. As a result, the match referee gave a penalty.

Brentford striker Ivan Toney took the penalty kick and made no mistake. So, Brentford took the lead in the 24th minute. Both teams could not score more in the remaining minutes. As a result, Brentford won the match against Everton.

However, Everton lost four of their last five league matches. They got only one point from the previous five games in the English Premier League.

Manchester City VS West Ham

Manchester City welcomed West Ham United at the City of Manchester Stadium. In this match, the home team, Manchester City, took the lead in the first half. The City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan scored on 33 minutes.

West Ham could not equalize in the first half. Moreover, they conceded the second goal at the end of the match. Fernandinho scored for the City in the 90th minutes with the help of Ilkay Gundogan.

However, West Ham returned a goal at the very last moment. Manuel Lanzini found the net on the injury time. But it was not enough to win the game. With this win, Manchester City are only one point behind from the table topper Chelsea.

Chelsea VS Manchester United

Manchester United visited Stamford Bridge last night to play against Chelsea. The home team manager, Thomas Tuchel, set the formation with 3-4-2-1. On the other side, Manchester United interim manager Michael Carrick played his team in a 4-3-2-1 formation. It was a surprising thing that Carrick dropped Cristiano Ronaldo from the starting XI.

However, Chelsea were very aggressive from the starting of the match. They pressed very highly in the first half. The home team could score in the first half, but David de Gea saved unbelievably.

In the second half, Manchester United took the lead as Jadon Sancho scored in the 50th minute. However, the visitors conceded in the 69th minute. Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan Bissaka fouled Thiago Silva inside the box. As a result, the referee offered a penalty to Chelsea. Jorginho took the penalty kick for the blues and scored. So after 90 minutes, both teams got one point each.
