Today is the day we all have been waiting for. Today, The FIFA World Cup final will take place at Lusail Stadium, where Lionel Messi’s Argentina will play against the defending champion, France. All the tickets for this match have been sold out. FIFA estimated that around 88000 audiences will come today to the stadium to witness the great final. However, Argentina will get the majority of the audience at Lusail Stadium.

How will be Argentina’s lineup today?

With all of the players back in the squad, Argentina are getting a huge boost heading into the final. Angel Di Maria got a knock against the Poland match. After that, he missed several games for the ALbiceleste. However, he has recovered and is ready to play in the final.

Moreover, Marcos Acuna missed the semifinal against Croatia due to suspension. He is now available for today. Montiel also has returned to the team.

The return of these players might force the manager to change the formation once again. Argentina’s manager Lionel Scaloni changed the team formation in every game. He is likely to change formation today as well.

If Angel Di Maria plays tonight, the manager may set up the team formation with 4-4-2, where Lionel Messi and Julian Alvarez will play in the front. De Paul, Di Maria, Mac Allister, and Enzo Fernandez are likely to form a diamond-shaped midfield. With the return of Acuna, he will replace Tagliafico in the left-back position. The manager may keep Nicholas Otamendi and Christian Romero as the center-back duo. In the right-back position, Nahuel Molina is ready to face France. However, Emiliano Martinez is an auto choice for the manager in between the goalposts.

However, if Di Maria doesn’t play from the first half, the manager is likely to play his team in a 5-3-2 formation. In that case, Lisandro Martinez will come as one of the back fives, replacing Di Maria.

What has Didier Deschamps said?

Argentina will get massive support from in and out of the stadium today. The entire world is hoping to see Lionel Messi lift the trophy. France boss Didier Deschamps also knows it. But he doesn’t care about the support in the final.

Deschamps said, “I know Argentina and many people around the world, and maybe some French people as well, would hope that Lionel Messi could win the World Cup, but we’re going to do everything to achieve our objective.”
