Both teams have confirmed their places in the next UEFA Champions League as they are in the top four. On the other hand, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Tottenham are fighting for the other two places.
Chelsea FC are standing the 3rd at the point table with 66 points. They were in a good position to end the season in 3rd place, but the Blues have dropped some crucial points recently. They lost two of their last five matches and have won only two. Moreover, last night, Chelsea FC lost to Everton FC by 1-0. Everton forward Richarlison scored the only goal to beat Chelsea. However, Chelsea have four games remaining in the league. They can not afford to lose any points in these games.
Arsenal is another team that is fighting for the top four spots. Currently, the Gunners are in 4th place with 63 points. The Gunners couldn’t start their season perfectly. They lost some games at the start of the season. But they became stable day after day. After losing two consecutive matches, Arsenal won their last three games. These three victories have made a great opportunity for the Gunners to play in the next UEFA Champions League after a long time. However, they need to keep the form in their remaining four matches to secure the top four places.
On the other hand, Tottenham Hotspur are also looking to get into the top four. They are just two points behind Arsenal. With 61 points, the Spurs are in 5th place. Tottenham have dropped some important points in their previous five games. They lost a match and have drawn one. However, they are back on the winning track.
