Today’s Matches at the Champions League

Today sixteen teams will play their last match in the group round of the UEFA Champions League. Some teams already qualified for the knock-out stage, and some have failed to do so. Meanwhile, some teams still have a chance to go through the knock-out round.

Manchester City VS RB Leipzig

Today’s first match will be between Manchester City and RB Leipzig. Manchester City already confirmed their place at the knock-out stage. Moreover, they are in 1st place with 12 points in their group. Manchester City won four of their last five games in the UEFA Champions League and lost one.

Paris Saint-Germain VS Club Brugge

The French team, PSG, will play against Club Brugge at Parc Des Princes today. Like Manchester City, PSG also confirmed the knock-out round. They are in 2nd place with 8 points on the point table. As it stands, Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain have qualified for the next round from Group A.

Group B Analysis

Group B is one of the toughest groups in the UEFA Champions League this season. That is why it is called the Group of Death. Only Liverpool have secured their place at the knock-out round from Group B. The remaining three teams have an equal chance to qualify for the next round.

FC Porto are in 2nd place with five points. Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid and AC Milan have the same 4 points each. Today, Atletico Madrid will play against FC Porto. At the same time, AC Milan will play against the table topper, Liverpool. If FC Porto can beat Atletico Madrid, they will qualify for the next round.
