Both Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United won last night in their respective matches. The Spurs won against Leicester City in late drama, while the Red Devils sealed victory against Brentford FC. With this victory, the Spurs climbed up to the 5th, and Manchester United leveled their points with Arsenal.

Tottenham VS Leicester Thriller

The match between Leicester City and Tottenham Hotspur was full of thrillers. Despite scoring the first goal, the Foxes couldn’t win the game. However, Leicester City welcomed the Spurs at their home ground, the King Power Stadium.

In this match, Brandon Rogers, the home team manager, set up the team formation with 3-5-2. He used three defenders with two wing-backs. On the other side, Tottenham manager Antonio Conte followed the same formation as Brandon Rogers.

However, both teams played very attacking football from the beginning of the match. But the home team took the lead first. In the 24th minute, Leicester forward Patson Daka scored the first goal for the Foxes. But the visitors didn’t take much time to equalize. The Spurs captain Harry Kane equalized before half-time

Coming back from the break, both teams desperately tried to find the net again. However, Leicester midfielder James Maddison netted the ball in the 76th minute. It looked like the home team was going to win the match. But the drama was yet to come. Tottenham forward Steven Bergwijn scored twice in injury time. He scored two goals in the space of two minutes. As a result, Tottenham Hotspur won the game dramatically at the King Power Stadium.

Manchester United 3-1 Brentford

Manchester United sealed a victory against the Bees at Brentford Community Stadium. During this match, the Red Devils manager changed the team formation after a long time. He used Cristiano Ronaldo as the center forward.

Anyway, the first half ended in a 0-0 tie. Both teams couldn’t score in the first half. But the home team created more chances than Man United. The Red Devils could have conceded goals if David De Gea didn’t make extra-ordinary saves.

But the visitors settled down in the second half. They pressed highly from the starting of the second part. The first goal came in the 55th minute. Anthony Elanga scored that goal with the help of Fred. Manchester United doubled their lead in the 62nd minute as Mason Greenwood found the net for the Reds with the help of Bruno Fernandez. After a while, Bruno made an assist again in the 77th minute as Rashford scored that goal. Anyway, the Bees returned a goal in the 85th minute. But it was not enough to win the game. As a result, Manchester United won the match.
