Real Madrid and FC Barcelona are two of the most successful clubs in the history of European club football. Both clubs are very active in the transfer market as the transfer window will open very soon. However, the financial condition of FC Barcelona is not strong as Real Madrid. Yet, they are still optimistic about signing some exciting players during the next transfer window.

FC Barcelona

FC Barcelona, the Spanish club, had done great business in the last transfer window. They have signed some players on a free transfer. Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang, Ferran Torres, and Adama Traore are among them. Since signing them, Barcelona have been playing well in the league. However, Barca’s manager Xavi Hernandez is also looking for some new faces in the upcoming window. Bayern forward Robert Lewandowski is on his list. Barcelona have contacted the player’s agent. But, Bayern Munich are not willing to sell him this season. Lewandowski has one more year contract with Bayern. So, if Bayern will not leave him, he can’t join Barcelona.

However, FC Barcelona have another option if they won’t get Lewandowski. They are aiming to sign Romelu Lukaku. The Chelsea forward isn’t happy at his club. He is not a regular starter for Chelsea FC. That is why Lukaku wants to leave Chelsea. Barcelona will go for him if they fail to sign Lewandowski.

Real Madrid

Real Madrid have been trying to sign Kylian Mbappe for the last year. The Los Blancos are in a good position to get the France International this year. Mbappe, too, wants to join Madrid, but he still has a year left on his Paris Saint-Germain contract.

On the other hand, PSG have been trying to convince Mbappe to stay at the club. If they can not extend the contract with Mbappe, he will leave the club next season for free. However, Mauricio Pochettino has talked about the future of Mbappe. He said,

Kylian Mbappe is 100% staying at the club together with him.

Moreover, Real Madrid have reached a verbal agreement with Chelsea’s defender, Antonio Rudiger. Rudiger will leave Chelsea FC at the end of the season and join Real Madrid on a free transfer.
