The summer transfer window has finally over. A lot has happened during the window, and we have been updating all the crazy news throughout the window. But, Deadline Day was very unpredictable this year. English club Chelsea FC have completed two new signing on the Deadline Day, while Liverpool have signed a new midfielder.

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang has returned to the Premier League

Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, the Gabonese international, has returned to the English Premier League after seven months. Aubameyang joined FC Barcelona from Arsenal last winter. But he hasn’t played many games for the Catalan club.

However, Chelsea approached for signing Aubameyang at the very last moment of the transfer window. They offered Barcelona £10m plus Alonso for the former Arsenal striker. Barcelona also accepted the offer to make the deal done. Anyway, Aubameyang arrived in the UK on Thursday to complete his medical.

Chelsea are having a tough time this season. Especially, their strikers are not getting goals. That is why Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel decided to sign Aubameyang at the last moment. In addition, the Blues signed another player on a loan move. They brought the Juventus midfielder, Denis Zakaria, on loan. However, all these signings have made Chelsea the most spending club in the EPL this window. They spent around £278.4m during the summer transfer window, while Manchester United spent £227.4m.

Arthur Melo joined Liverpool

Liverpool’s midfield has been vulnerable this season as most of their players have been ruled out due to injury. Thiago Alcantara is yet to play a match this season, while Naby Keita and Jordan Henderson remained out of the squad due to injury. So, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp signed a midfielder immediately in the 11th hour.

Liverpool reached an agreement with Juventus to sign Arthur Melo on a loan move. The Brazil international joined Juventus from FC Barcelona back in 2020. Now, he will be featured in Liverpool’s jersey. However, Liverpool have an option o make the deal permanent for £32m.

Man United signed a new goalkeeper

Manchester United have signed a new goalkeeper following the departure of Dean Henderson. The Red Devils reached an agreement with Newcastle to sign Martin Dubravka on a loan move with a £5m buy option.
