The Winter Transfer Window is going on. Many top clubs are trying to sign new players. Chelsea and Manchester United are two of the active clubs in the market. Chelsea are very close to completing a deal with Atletico Madrid, while Man United are looking for a striker.

Joao Felix

After sacking Thomas Tuchel, Chelsea’s form are not going well. Chelsea are now in 10th at the league table under their new manager, Graham Potter. If this continues, Chelsea will not be able to qualify.

However, Chelsea’s owner Tod Boehly is trying to strengthen his team by signing new players. Atletico Madrid’s young talent Joao Felix is heavily linked with the English club.

Atletico Madrid’s financial condition has made it difficult for them to pay off Joao Felix’s salary. Therefore, they are open to letting Joao Felix leave on loan.

Nevertheless, Chelsea is not the only team interested in Felix. Arsenal and Manchester United also had contact with the agent of Joao Felix. But Atletico Madrid demands €11m for a season loan. That is why Manchester United and Arsenal got out of the race.

Besides, Chelsea have remained interested and are likely to complete the deal. They are ready to pay the asking price. This deal, however, does not include a Buy-Option.

Wout Weghorst

Manchester United have been linked with many players. They were the favorite to sign Cody Gakpo. Unfortunately, Liverpool hijacked Cody Gakpo. But the English club are still looking for a striker.

A few days ago, Manchester United boss Erik Ten Hag said that the team needs another striker as Anthony Martial won’t handle the pressure of games.

However, there are not too many strikers available on the market. So, the club is now trying to sign Wout Weghorst on a loan move. Currently, Wout Weghorst is playing at Burnley FC on loan. He has to return to his club Besiktas after completing the loan.

But Manchester United are now negotiating with Besiktas. Both parties are confident about the deal. If everything goes well, Wout Weghorst will be Man United’s new recruitment in this window.
