Gareth Bale and Paul Pogba were among the highest-paid players when they joined their respective clubs. But those two players are ready to leave their club on a free transfer this summer.

What’s next for Paul Pogba

Paul Pogba, the French World Cup winner, rejoined Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 with a record-breaking fee of £89m. Red Devils supporters expected great things from Pogba. After joining Man United, Paul Pogba won a trophy for Manchester United in the following year. This one is also the last trophy that Man United won.

However, Paul Pogba had his best season in 2018 for Manchester United. That year, he scored 13 goals and 9-assists in 35 matches. But the French world cup winner hasn’t been consistent for the club. Moreover, Paul Pogba suffered a lot due to injuries. He couldn’t play an entire season for a hamstring injury.

On the other hand, Pogba had other issues with the Man United board and some coaches. His collision with Jose Mourinho, the former manager of Manchester United, broke the internet at that time. Moreover, a huge number of fans didn’t take Pogba positively. Overall, the situation hadn’t been comfortable for the France international.

Finally, Paul Pogba decided to leave the club. His contract with Man United will expire in July. However, the Red Devil’s new manager, Erik ten Hag, offered Pogba to stay. But, Pogba doesn’t want to renew the contract.

So, after playing six years at the club, Pogba is finally leaving Manchester United. Now the question is, where will the Frenchman play next? La Liga winner Real Madrid were interested in signing him last year. But, they are not looking to get him now. However, Pogba might join his former club, Juventus, who showed interest in signing him.

Gareth Bale is leaving Real Madrid.

After playing a long nine years at Real Madrid, Gareth Bale has decided to leave the Los Blancos this summer. His contract with the La Liga champion has expired, and he is not interested to renew the contract. In his official account, Gareth Bale said,

I write this message to say thank you to all my team mates, past and present, my managers, the back room staff and to the fans that supported me. I arrived here 9 years ago as a young man who wanted to realise my dream of playing for Real Madrid. To wear the pristine white kit, to wear the crest on my chest, to play at the Santiago Bernabéu, to win titles and to be part of what it’s so famous for, to win the Champions League. I can now look back, reflect and say with honesty that this dream became a reality and much, much more.
