Valencia beat Levante while Real Madrid dropped points

Spanish league topper Real Madrid dropped points against Cadiz at Santiago Bernabeu. Last night, Real Madrid have drawn against the visitors at home. However, they remain at the top of the table despite losing the points. The Los Blancos are six points ahead of the second team, Sevilla.

On the other hand, Valencia came back from two goals down early in the match. They beat Levante by a 4-3 margin. As a result, they climb up in the 7th in the point table, one point ahead of FC Barcelona.

Valencia FC welcomed Levante at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia last night. The home team manager, J. Bordalas, set up the team formation with 4-4-2. On the other side, Levante boss Alessio Lisci also played his team in 4-4-2.

However, the visitors played very attacking football from the beginning of the match. They tried to control the game on the away ground. As a result, Levante scored the first goal in the 21st minute. Jose Campana was the scorer of that goal. Three minutes later, the visitors doubled their lead as Roger Marti found the net for Levante. He scored with the help of Jose Morales, midfielder of Levante. Just before halftime, Valencia returned a goal as Goncalo Guedes found the net in the 44th minute.

Coming back from the break, Levante lost control in the game. They became messy in the second half. So the home team took this opportunity. They equalized in the 50th minute, scoring a goal from a penalty kick. Moreover, Valencia became more aggressive after scoring the second goal. They hit again in the 72nd minute. Carlos Soler, who found the net from the penalty kick, scored the third one.

In the 85th minute, Valencia scored again as Goncalo Guedes beat D. Cardenas. It was the fourth goal for the home team. However, Levante returned another goal in the very last moment of the game. Enis Bardhi scored the goal in injury time. But that was not enough to get points. As a result, Valencia FC won the match and got three points at home.
