Brazil and Argentina both have won in different matches in the FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Argentina have won against Peru while five-times World Cup winner Brazil beat Uruguay in 3-1 today.

Argentina VS Peru

The unbeaten run of Argentina continues. They beat Peru by 1-0 thanks to Lautaro Martinez for his superb header. With this win, Argentina are now unbeaten in the straight 25 games. Argentina boss Lionel Scaloni made one change in the match against Peru. He put Angel Di Maria instead of Nickolas Gonzalez. He set the formation with 4-3-3. On the other hand, Peru boss R Gareca played his team with the formation of 4-1-4-1.

In the first half, Argentina created a lot of chances. But because of their poor finishing, they could not score goals. Di Maria and Lautaro Martinez missed some great opportunities to score but failed to do that. However, Argentina scored their only goal at the very last moment of the first half. Argentine right-back Nahuel Molina made a brilliant run and crossed the ball into the box. Martinez was there to head the ball. His bullet header found the net of Peru. As a result, Argentina took the lead in the first half.

Peru have had a chance to equalize in the second half. Argentina goalkeeper Emi Martinez fouled Peru’s striker Lapadula inside the box. So, the match referee gave a penalty to them. But  Yoshimar Yotun missed the penalty kick as he hit the goal post. As a result, Argentina won the match against Peru.

Brazil VS Uruguay

Brazil welcomes Uruguay at the Amazonia Arena Stadium, where they beat Uruguay by 4-1. Brazil took the lead at the very beginning of the match. Their superstar Neymar scored the first goal for Brazil in the 10th. The second and third goals came from Brazil’s new sensation Rafinha. He played the full 90 minutes for the first time for Brazil. Moreover, he has been in a brilliant form. Rafinha played only three games for Brazil and was involved in every goal of Brazil in the last three matches.

Rafinha scored for Brazil in the 18th and 58th minutes against Uruguay. Brazil scored their 4th goal as Gabriel Barbosa found the net in the 83rd minute. Uruguay, on the other hand, returned only one goal. Luis Suarez scored this goal in the 77th minute.
