The first half was not very much exciting as both teams intended to play defensive football. However, Manchester United created some chances in the first half but couldn’t find the net. The scoreline didn’t change in the first half.

However, the home team started dominating from the very first minute of the 2nd half. They made seven attempts in the first 10 minutes of the 2nd half, while Manchester United did only three. Leeds could have scored one, but David De Gea made some incredible saves.

To change the tempo, the Man United manager deployed the two Argentines, Alejandro Garnacho and Lisandro Martinez, on the field. And guess what? Alejandro Garnacho pushed and pressed the opponents highly.

Finally, Manchester United got a goal as Marcus Rashford found the net with a powerful header in the 80th minute. Five minutes later, The Red Devils doubled their lead. This time, Alejandro Garnacho netted the ball with the help of Wout Weghorst. Moreover, Man United could have scored two more goals in the remaining minute, but the VAR ruled these out. However, the two goals were enough to win the match for Manchester United.
