Belgium ran a roller coaster over Poland

Belgium, the former world no.1, thrashed Poland in the UEFA Nations League. They scored six goals against Poland. After losing the first match, Belgium turned around with this massive victory. This victory moves them to the second place on the table in group 4. On the other hand, Poland slipped down to third place.

Match Details

Belgium welcomed Poland at the King Baoudon Stadium to play their second match in the UEFA Nations League. In this match, Belgium boss Roberto Martinez set up the team formation with 3-4-3. On the other side, Poland’s manager played his team in a 4-5-1 formation.

However, both teams played attacking football from the start of the match. The two teams created many chances in the first half. In the 28th minute, Poland scored the first goal in the game. Polish striker Robert Lewandowski found the net in the 28th minute with the help of Sebastian Szymanski.

After a while, the manager replaced Hazard with Leandro Trossard, and guess what?

Leandro Trossard changed the game entirely. He scored two goals for Belgium within a short period of time. In the 73rd minute, Leandro Trossard scored his first goal of the match. As a result, Belgium got two goals against Poland. However, Poland tried to get back on track. They were very desperate to find the net but never scored.

Moreover, Leandro Trossard hit again in the 80th minute. He found the net with the help of Yannick Carrasco. Three minutes later, Belgium got their fourth goal. This time, Leander Dendoncker scored that goal in the 83rd minute. In addition, Belgium scored their sixth goal as L. Openda found the net in the injury time.
