Premier League Match Day Updates

The English Premier League will feature six matches today. Big teams such as Manchester City, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Everton will play today in their respective games. However, the Guardiola boys remain at the top of the table with 63 points, while Liverpool are just three points behind the table topper. So, every match is very important for Manchester City to win the league title once again.

Leeds United VS Tottenham

Today’s first match in the Premier League will be between Tottenham Hotspur and  Leeds United. The Bielsa boys are ready to welcome the Spurs on the Ellan Road. Both teams are facing a crucial time in the league. Leeds have lost all of their previous five games in the league. They are now standing in 15th place with 23 points, only three points ahead of the relegation zone.

On the other hand, Tottenham are very inconsistent in the league. They have defeated the table topper, Manchester City, with a brilliant performance. But then they lost to Burnley Fc by a 1-0 margin. So, the Spurs need to win every game to keep their hopes alive of being among the top four.

Manchester United VS Watford

Before jumping to a very tight fixture, Manchester United are going to host Watford at Old Trafford today. The Rangnick boys are standing in the 4th at the point table with 46 points. There’s no time to keep calm as their closest rivals Arsenal are breathing down their necks with 45 points. On the other side, Watford are not in their best form. They are in the relegation zone with 28 points only.

Edinson Cavani and Scott Mctominay have missed the match against Atletico Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. Both are suffering from injury. However, Mctominay has recovered but is still in doubt about the clash against Watford. On the other hand, Edinson Cavani is likely to miss today’s match. So, Cristiano Ronaldo is the favorite to start for the Red Devils. However, Ralf Rangick might start Anthony Elanga instead of Marcus Rashford. Elanga scored a late goal against Atletico Madrid. Besides, Rashford is not performing well.
