The Qatar World Cup is knocking at the door. Every team is taking their best preparation for the biggest show on earth. However, many teams are favorites in this world cup, and Argentina is one of them. It is also a special world cup for Lionel Messi, as he has declared Qatar World Cup to be his final one. But the injuries of his teammates made him tense.

Lionel Messi missed Paris Saint-Germain’s last two matches, including the game against Benfica in the UCL. He has suffered a calf strain. However, Messi has returned to the training pitch. Yesterday, the Argentine superstar completed the full training session with the team, and he is ready to play on Sunday.
PSG manager Galtier said: “Leo trained this morning, normally with the group. He did the whole session and then we will wait to see how he reacts to the session. And tomorrow morning, we will wait to see how he reacts to the session tomorrow. But at the moment I’m talking to you: yes, [I can count on Messi].”

Although Lionel Messi recovered from the injury, he is worried about his teammates, Di Maria and Paulo Dybala. Both Argentines were seriously injured while playing for their respective clubs. Angel Di Maria became injured while playing against Maccabi Haifa in the UEFA Champions League. He is ruled out at least for three weeks due to a hamstring injury. On the other hand, Paulo Dybala is also suffering from a muscle injury. Roma manager Jose Mourinho does not expect to see him play until the next year.

Argentine captain, Lionel Messi, is worried about the upcoming world cup because of all these circumstances. While speaking to Directv Sports, Messi said, “Injuries are a worry. This is a different World Cup which is played at a different time of the year to previous tournaments, and it’s so imminent any little thing that happens to you can force you out.”

“With what happened to Dybala and Di Maria, the truth is that, personally you worry, and you are more afraid when you see those sort of things. It’s something you think about but I feel going out to play with that in your head can be contradictory as well,” he added.

However, Messi is hopeful to get them before the World Cup. He told, “The best thing you can do is perform as normal and play your game as you always do. I hope Di Maria and Dybala recover in time. They have enough time to do so and reach the tournament in good shape.”
