The January Transfer Window is about to end. Chelsea have been very active during this window. They have signed several players, but Manchester United have completed only one signing so far. They signed Wout Weghorst from Burnley FC on a loan move. However, The Red Devils are aiming to splash the cash in the next summer transfer window.

Man United’s transfer plan

The Red Devils have been linked with many players but failed to sign them. Cody Gakpo is one of them. Liverpool hijacked the deal from Manchester United.

However, Erik Ten Hag is now looking for a genuine striker. A striker has been a top priority for Manchester United since Cristiano Ronaldo left. Anthony Martial performed well during the pre-season, but the manager insisted he would go for another striker.

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United will go for Harry Kane in the upcoming summer transfer window. England’s forward has entered his final 12 months at Tottenham Hotspur. There’s a strong possibility that Harry Kane will not renew his contract with the Spurs.

Moreover, Tottenham Hotspur are not doing good in the EPL. With 33 points, The Spurs stand 5th in the point table. If they fail to qualify for the UEFA Champions League, Harry Kane is more likely to leave the club. Nevertheless, Spurs are set to place a minimum £85million price tag on Kane, according to the Daily Mail.

It is clear, however, that Manchester United is not the only club interested in signing Harry Kane. German club Bayern Munich and Spanish giant Real Madrid also want to sign the British forward.

James Milner

James Milner extended his contract for one more year in the last summer. However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wants him to keep playing at Liverpool. Klopp said, “We have different plans for Milly but Milly wants to keep playing. When you see him play the other night (in the FA Cup replay victory at Wolves) I think everyone understands that.”

The manager added, “You can’t judge him normal for his age. He is 37, doesn’t look a day like this when he is in training. He is an incredibly important player and in this game (Wolves) you saw that on the pitch as well.”
